Visa U.S.A. Inc., a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. Product Manager (multiple openings) in Foster City, CA to:
Drive the strategic roadmap, defining product and market requirements by understanding the needs of clients.
Establish detailed business requirements and specifications for existing and new services and products.
Collaborate deeply with other global and regional product teams, and delivery teams such as development, architecture, testing, integration, design, etc.
Analyze data to provide actionable insights and iterate product capabilities.
Proactively identify gaps in the current product offering and lead the effort to develop solutions that drive business value.
Track payment industry trends, standards, and competitive offerings in the e-commerce and digital payments arena.
Identify opportunities for new value-added and differentiated features.
Commercialize product and collaborate with finance and other commercial teams to agree on the right pricing and go-to-market strategies.
Develop material to educate internal and external stakeholders on new product offerings.
Coordinate with the regional product teams and internal teams such as legal to ensure country/market and regulatory requirements are met, delivered, and tested for a successful launch.
Engage with product marketing and design teams to create client-facing collaterals that clearly define the value and customer experience.
Participate in client-facing discussions and apply in defining product.
Manage, groom, plan and execute a steady product backlog in a very fast-paced agile environment.
Position reports to the Foster City, California office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field, followed by 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a product manager or analyst-related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
Directing the development and launch of new capabilities and user experiences for an e-commerce platform;
Developing product strategy and driving strategic roadmap;
Working with cross-functional (e.g. product, business development, sales, strategy, marketing) and cross-regional teams in a highly matrixed organization to determine business and customer needs and define product and market requirements;
Creating detailed business requirements and specifications for existing and new services and products;
Identifying, documenting, and prioritizing use cases and product functionality requirements for the execution of a product offering.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers. The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $176,988.00 USD to $236,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.
