This role is responsible for writing content for internal publications such as the Annual Report and external publications such as our consumer magazines to assist in achieving revenue goals, promoting initiatives and demonstrating the positive impact of our organisation.This role will support the business by curating, copywriting and managing the development of quality, targeted and on brand content that results in improved client experience, communication and brand outcomes.You will also be involved in speech writing and presentation development for Executives and the CEO, and other copywriting as required, working cross functionally within the team you will foster a positive reputation within the business and with our clients and ensure our brand story is told and represented with quality and consistency.This position is located in our central office in Rivervale with the option to work from home 1 or 3 days per week.We will be asking you to:Contribute to the development, implementation and management of SCC’s content plan and budget.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to brief and create marketing content and materials, across both digital and traditional media, inclusive of messaging and design.Manage and execute the development of tailored audience content, for both internal and external audiences.Source talent, interview, copywrite and manage the production of publications such as Annual Report, Southern Star magazines and newsletters across our facilities and service areas.Manage and execute the copywriting for required communications, presentations, advertorials, social media copy, video scripts and other marketing-related copy as required.Research and copywrite presentations, speeches and talking points for the CEO and Executive, for both internal and external purposes such as the Annual General meeting, media interviews and the employee Town Hall.Copywrite and manage grants and award applications on behalf of the organisation.Prepare clear, accurate, balanced, timely, well-written and well-researched stories that conform to style for publication across platforms including traditional, social and press.Generate unique content ideas to generate engagement and build the brand platform.Ensure all copy meets brand and legal requirements and is approved by stakeholders.About you:Previous experience in a similar role strongly preferred.To be considered for this role you'll be:A storyteller and writer. Driven to curate content which capture the true essence of SCC (WA) and the work we do.Accomplished editorial skills to source, analyse information and exercise reliable judgement.Great communication skills and interpersonal skills with a passion for building positive relationships with people from a range of diverse backgrounds.Autonomous and proactive, comfortable meeting deadlines and following a brief.The ability to anticipate what would be of most value to SCC (WA), for both content and delivery.Experienced at tailoring message to audience / channel and writing to a brand persona.Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Journalism, or similar.At Southern Cross Care (WA), we are committed to being an employer of choice.
