The Executive Assistant provides executive level support to the Chief, Division of Medicine (BMC)/Chairman, Dept of Medicine (BUSM)/President of Evans Medical Foundation and coordinates the administrative functions of the Department of Medicine. This position will also provide administrative support to the Vice Chair of Finance and Administration and the Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs.Typical responsibilities will include:Managing travel arrangementsCoordinating schedules and meetingsCoordinating executive correspondence and communications internally and externallyManagement of department conference rooms and office functionsPlanning meetings and eventsProcessing reimbursement requestsProviding support for presentations and meetingsAdministrative support for department-wide initiatives and eventsAssisting in new hire efforts by reviewing offer letters and overseeing the faculty appointments & promotions processMaintaining faculty files with relevant HR documentationTracking new hires and terminations for all faculty in the Department of Medicine (DOM)Collating and presenting faculty, staff, and department statistical dataManaging additional special projects as assigned based on department needsRequired Skills:5-8 Years of Experience.Required Level of Education:
