Our customer is seeking aSuspicious Change of Address (SCOA) Triage Investigative Analyst to support a federal financial investigative unit by performing data extraction, analysis, and conversion to support live investigations in Chicago, IL. The role involves investigative scanning, analyzing financial data, and other support activities that protect customers, further the mission, and protect the brand.Analyze, evaluate, and investigate suspect USPS Change of Address (COA) activity using various investigative and research techniques.Import suspect COA data into the Fraud Analysis Database (FAD) and triage requests to determine legitimacy.Conduct customer interviews to gather information necessary for determining the legitimacy of COA requests.Evaluate available data and decide on the validity of COA requests; escalate cases for further consideration when required.Execute procedures to cancel fraudulent COA requests, ensuring timely intervention to protect USPS customers.Qualify address information through blacklisting, whitelisting, and document relevant investigative notes in the Fraud Analysis Database (FAD).Prepare detailed reports documenting analytical results and statistical information for internal leadership.Provide support to criminal investigations by supplying relevant data and analysis findings.Assist FAD developers by identifying system issues, conducting CAT testing of fixes, and suggesting improvements to enhance SCOA operations.Skills and Abilities Requirements:Strong ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in accordance with established policies and procedures.Proficient communication skills, both oral and written, sufficient to clearly express findings and recommendations to various audiences.Ability to conduct research using internet resources and commercial/public databases to support investigative efforts.Experience with analytical techniques and methodologies sufficient to make informed recommendations and determinations.Proven ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision while maintaining confidentiality.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Required Security Clearance:A Sensitive Security Clearance is required for this position.
