We are looking for an experienced agency Account Director to join our Planning Studio and play a key role in driving the success of our marketing projects. You’ll work closely with internal teams and clients particularly within the pharma, healthcare, and life science industry, building strong, trusted relationships while ensuring projects are executed seamlessly. Your ability to navigate project complexities and stay proactive will make you an indispensable partner to both the team and our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong project management background, with five+ years of related experience, and a passion for digital and interactive marketing strategies. They will work with team members across our service lines, including Strategic, Creative, and Interactive, to lead projects that support our clients’ marketing efforts. The Marketing Account Director also champions planning and allocating resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle. Building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with clients and internal team members are key responsibilities of this role.

The Marketing Account Director will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution and delivery of projects within our organization. This includes overseeing the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and with the highest level of quality. This role involves managing daily client interactions and acting as their advisor and strategic partner to ensure project delivery and client satisfaction.

Using project management tools such as Asana and Parallax is preferred, as is the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Marketing Account Director you will:

Project Planning and Execution:

Develop comprehensive project plans outlining project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.

Execute project plans, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful delivery.

Lead milestones and tasks of all projects, including production resource allocations, capacity constraints, and efficiency improvements.

Collaboration:

Maintain daily communication with clients to manage project details, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.

Deliver project updates to the internal team, share client insights and project knowledge, and suggest future opportunities.

Contribute to strategy and share insights from knowledge of client work and business with the internal team.

Coordinate with other service studios to ensure project goals are met, and the right resources and expertise are allocated.

Team Leadership:

Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.

Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Collaborate with leadership to provide ongoing analysis to ensure appropriate utilization of team members and discuss staffing and capacity needs.

Stakeholder Communication:

Act as a central point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.

Facilitate effective communication between team members, management, and other stakeholders.

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and issues impacting project delivery and develop mitigation strategies.

Proactively address and resolve challenges to ensure project success.

Quality Assurance:

Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality project outcomes.

Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Budget Management:

Work closely with the team to manage project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.

Manage expectations, helping the team achieve client goals without sacrificing their well-being.

What you’ll need

Preferred 5+ years of related experience in a project management or marketing role.

Experience in healthcare marketing.

Reside in/near Denver, CO.

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, project management, communications or related field.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools. Experience using Asana is preferred.

Daily management of assigned projects, including meetings, presentations, project tracking, task assignment, and hours or billing reports.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
