DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our wine tasting room in Little Italy, San Diego. We’re looking for a motivated individual who can bring fresh energy, strong leadership, and a clear vision to elevate the guest experience and drive business success. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the tasting room’s operations, including sales growth, staff management, and delivering exceptional guest service.This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about wine, hospitality, and team leadership to take charge of a vibrant space in one of San Diego’s most popular neighborhoods.Reports to:

$76,000 - $82,000 base salary. This position also has significant bonus potential.Key Responsibilities:Lead and inspire a team to provide memorable guest experiences and ensure exceptional service standards.Drive sales growth by implementing creative strategies for increasing foot trac, wine sales, and wine club memberships.Oversee daily operations of the tasting room, including scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling.Collaborate with the marketing team to execute local marketing initiatives and special events.Develop and manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations, ensuring alignment with company values.Maintain operational efficiency through effective processes and systems that support a smooth guest experience and drive revenue.Ensure compliance with company policies and nancial reporting, including sales tracking, expense management, and team timekeeping.RequirementsBachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in hospitality, restaurant, or retail management.A passion for food and wine with extensive knowledge of California wines, including natural wine knowledge.Proven experience managing a team, ideally in the hospitality or wine industry.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive and motivated team culture.Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.Must be at least 21 years old and able to lift 40 pounds (a case of wine).Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with e-commerce platforms, social media, and point-of-sale systems.
