IL License1 year of experience- surgical experienceMust have total joint experienceMust have Understanding of PCA pumps, reversal drugs (narcan), sepsis managementExperience with TPN/ Lipids. Narcotic usageBLSNIHSSOther Details:
Float to like units only. If floated to higher acuity it would be to work as a help all and not take a patient load.Charting System: Allscripts - SunriseAccepts LOCALNurse:Patient Ratios 1:4-6 Nights 1:5-6 LPNs available, virtual admission and discharge nurses to assist as well. Primary care nursing model is frequently used. Must be okay with this.Common diagnosis / Types of patients Neuro- laminectomy, cervical fusion, LESI, belly surgery-ostomies, hernia repair, joint replacement-total hips/knees. PICC, TPN, Lipids. Fem pop bypass, dialysis catheter insertions, BKA, AKA. DM (dialysis is also located on the 3rd floor) PCA, some epidurals, iv abx, chronic pain (narcotics), sepsis, urgent OR cases.Epic Travel Staffing:
