Position: Senior Energy Efficiency Consultant

Location: Hybrid on-site 2 days/week in Springfield MA

Rate: negotiable based on experience

Duration: 6-month contract to hire

Position Description:

This position is responsible for providing energy efficiency project/program management services to key accounts and the most complex programs/initiatives. This position provides the services directly and through coordination with internal and external subject matter experts. Regularly involves interaction with regulators and/or other non-Utility EE Stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Management of EE projects.
• Have conversations with customers, contractors, internal engineering, manage project documentation.
• Assigned to a team, working as an assistant to the projects until they are ready to take on more responsibility for projects.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of related experience required.
• Project Management.
• Financial principles.
• Requires ability to interpret energy efficiency/renewable technologies and services and understand their application.
• Comfort in an industrial space. All customers will be in factory settings.

Education/Certifications:

• BA degree in engineering, energy sustainability, or related degrees.
• An Engineer in Training (EIT), Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or accredited Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Professional is preferred.
