Responsibilities
Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and designServe as technical expert on development projectsWrite technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirementsSupport, maintain, and document software functionalityIdentify and evaluate new technologies for implementationAnalyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as neededParticipate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirementsConsults with Business Analysts and business partners on potential software solutions for business specificationsRecognized as expert in field, knowledgeable of emerging trends and industry practicesConducts the most complex and vital work critical to the organizationWorks without supervision with complete latitude for independent judgmentMay mentor less experienced peers and display leadership as neededWorks on one or more moderate to complex projects as a project leader
Required Skills
Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems and/or equivalent work experience5+ years of experience in design, development, documenting, testing, and debugging of new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software5+ years of experience with Software Development Languages & Tools, C#, Asp.NET/MVC, Web API, WCF, MS Visual Studio, MS TFSStrong knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework, SQL and Design PatternsA solid understanding of OOP principlesA good understanding of N-tier and N-layered architectureDemonstrate advance knowledge of software engineering best practices such as: Continuous Integration, Unit/Integration testing, Code reviews, versioning and versioning control, software packaging and software release managementFamiliarity with native Cloud technologies/patterns (AWS/Azure), Docker containers and Container Orchestration platforms such as KubernetesThorough knowledge and experience with Microsoft Technology Stack, Windows Server OS (2008, 2012), IIS 7, 7.5, MSMQ, Net Framework 4.0, 4.5Worked closely with the architect for development of applications3 years of IT experience developing business critical applicationsProficient with on time delivery with minimal supervisionExhibit written and spoken English fluencySuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
