In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the health and wellness of a diverse community.*We pay professional dues for our RDs including CDR fees, Academy or ASPEN annual membership and state license fees!!*Touchpoint encourages our clinical dietitians to pursue advanced clinical certifications such as CDCES, CNSC, CSO, etc. We offer a $2,500 one-time salary increase for successfully obtaining an advanced certification.Key Responsibilities:Provides /Lead nutrition services in identified specialty area for a minimum of 70% of workload/responsibilities. Specialty areas include NICU, bariatric, renal, cardiac, diabetes, nutrition support, pediatrics, oncology, transplant, geriatrics, and outpatient services. Assesses the nutritional status of patients/ residents through documentation in the medical recordTrains and mentor's patient/resident services staff and interns as applicableFosters teamwork and establishes effective strategies to implement innovative programs which leads to optimal clinical nutrition and financial outcomesComplies with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient/resident rights policiesParticipates in patient/resident satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
