Full-Time, Salaried Pediatric Dietitian Specialist
to join our Nutrition Team at the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. We are a Trauma Center and have a Level IV NICU. Areas of coverage include the pediatric intensive care unit, burn unit and pediatric cardiac intensive care unit.Schedule is Monday- Friday with holiday and weekend rotation every 7 weeks, also responsible for cross coverage in our NICU.$2500 Sign On BonusRelocation Assistance!*We pay professional dues for our RDs including CDR fees, Academy or ASPEN annual membership and state license fees!!*Touchpoint encourages our clinical dietitians to pursue advanced clinical certifications such as CDCES, CNSC, CSO, etc. We offer a $2,500 one-time salary increase for successfully obtaining an advanced certification.
Key Responsibilities:Provides nutrition services in identified specialty area for a minimum of 70% of workload/responsibilities. Assesses the nutritional status of patients through documentation in the medical recordTrains and mentor's patient services staff and interns as applicableFosters teamwork and establishes effective strategies to implement innovative programs which leads to optimal clinical nutrition and financial outcomesComplies with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policiesParticipates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
