Job Description
The Senior Development Manager - BESS, Solar, Wind will be responsible for:
Lead large-scale renewable energy projects from inception through COD in WECCConduct due diligence for project acquisitions, prioritizing based on key metrics.Administer development agreements with local partners and manage stakeholder relations.Coordinate land campaigns to secure sites for generation and interconnection facilities.Facilitate project interconnection requests and conduct transmission studies.Negotiate contracts including PPAs, GIAs, and EPC agreements.Manage project budgets, schedules, and internal stage-gate reviews.Present development opportunities and prepare materials for management.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
The Senior Development Manager - BESS, Solar, Wind will have
Minimum of five (5) years' experience in renewable energy industryDirect experience in utility scale solar, battery or wind projectsExperience with land development: landowner engagement, and negotiation/contracting, title resolution, agricultural land use/water restrictionsBachelor's degree is requiredAble to work on a hyrbid basis in San Diego

$175,000 - $225,000 base salary
