Job Description
Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is currently recruiting a Director of Manufacturing who will infuse the Manufacturing Team with their talent, energy and leadership skills. 1) Build and lead the manufacturing operations for Insulin program team and drive
accountability for deliverables in a matrix environment
2) Provide the manufacturing leadership and management to ensure that the mission, core values and culture of the company are put into practice at the site
3) Demonstrate ability to act as subject matter expert in manufacturing equipment build and function, as well as in manufacturing processes
4) Implement manufacturing shifts and support models for the Insulin program in alignment with site, company plans and member needs
5) Support the facility and equipment design, construction, process development/validation, and qualification
6) Establish performance and development plans for department staff, as standardized by the site and company, consistent with a culture of individual and team accountability and high performance
7) Establish manufacturing goals, milestones, objectives and key performance metrics
8) Mentor and coach manufacturing personnel in the use of lean and six sigma methodologies and change management techniques to ensure timely completion of projects at the expected results
9) Perform other duties as assigned
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in manufacturing management
