A healthcare organization, with multiple sites around New York and Long Island, is looking to add a licensed Primary Care Physician to their growing team in Brooklyn.
About the Opportunity:Schedule:
Monday to Friday (one per Saturday per month)Hours:
8am to 6pm (one late night shift per week)Setting:
OutpatientPatient Volume : 2 to 3 per hourResponsibilities:
The Primary Care Physician will:
Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination resultsProvide quality clinical diagnostic skills in the delivery of patient careReview all test results and recommend suitable management for the patient, including but not limited to, preventive health recommendations and habitsPrescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plansCollect and record patient information, such as medical histories, reports and examination resultsMaintain complete and accurate medical recordsParticipate in medical staff educational programs and meetingsPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:
M.D. / D.O.Board Eligible / Certified in Family or Internal MedicineDEA/BLS/ACLS3+ years of related experienceDesired Skills:
Bilingual (English and Spanish)Demonstrate competency in diagnosis and treatment to assure high standards of patient care and safety are maintained.
