Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - ER

Shift : Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hours per week, every other weekend, every other holiday

Length

: 10 weeks

Requirements:OH License2 years of ER experienceLarge Hospital experienceTrauma ExperienceBCLSACLSTNCC and PALS are strongly preferredOther Details:

1.059 bed Magnet hospital and level II trauma center.Will float to ED Overflow unit - the nurse to patient ratio will flex to 1:5.Candidates must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment and work well staff and physicians.Stellar attendance and customer service is expected and full flexibility and dependability.Experience with EPIC EMR is ideal and scrub color is navy blue.•Position: ER RN

• level II trauma and certified stroke center

•Term: 13 weeks

•Shift: 7p-7a, 3/12's, every other weekend, every other holiday.

•Minimal requirements (3178):

•Large Hospital experience

•Must hold ACLS, BLS. TNCC and PALS are strongly preferred

•2 years of ER experience

•Trauma Experience

ER

Emergency room travel nurses are on the hospital front-lines, which is why emergency room travel nurse positions require a candidate who is able to handle a stressful and busy environment. They are responsible for examining patients upon their arrival and carrying out triage tasks to assess their condition. Ability to identify injuries, signs and symptoms, and communicate their assessment to the physician are required for the emergency room nurse. A travel ER nurse assists in patient treatment and explaining prescription information to patient/family among other tasks and must know the facility and government policies as it relates to patient treatment, transfer, and discharge. Educating the patient and their family about continued treatment at home is another task carried out by emergency room nurses before discharge.
