Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized care for patients with primary and metastatic brain tumors, spinal cord tumors, and neurologic complications of cancer.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, diagnostics, and treatment planning for neuro-oncology patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, and other specialists to deliver personalized and integrated care.
- Participate in clinical research, trials, and academic activities to advance neuro-oncology knowledge and treatment options.
- Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing patient outcomes and healthcare delivery.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of residency training in neurology or neurosurgery.
- Board certification or eligibility in neurology or neurosurgery.
- Successful completion of a neuro-oncology fellowship program.
- Active medical license in the state of practice.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care, research, and education.
- Ambitious mindset with a desire to innovate and improve healthcare systems.
