MJH Life Sciences is looking for an HR Specialist to join our team. The HR Specialist will be responsible for being a key partner in supporting our department leaders and their teams through strategy, execution, employee relations, performance management, compensation, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), and employee engagement!
Key Responsibilities
Understand strategic business objectives and educate business leadership on HR best practices such as talent management, employee engagement, performance optimization, succession planning and other HR functionsConduct meetings with assigned departments and leaders on an ongoing basis to discuss and strategize the best way to support business and professional development needsProvide guidance to manage and resolve employee relations issues as they ariseHelp maintain a positive work environment and contribute to employee engagementEnsure accurate record-keeping and data management related to HR activitiesHandle confidential HR documents and information with discretion.Address employee questions and concerns, providing guidance and solutions.Complete employee relations and administrative tasks throughout the associate lifecycle including exit interviews, stay interviews, terminations, FMLA discussions, and HRIS business process tasksGuide leadership in team and individual development, compensation review, and goal setting on an ongoing basisUtilize HR knowledge to collaborate closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase effectiveness and retentionProvide HR policy guidance and interpretationComplete other HR team special projects as neededExperience and Skill Requirement:
Bachelor's degree required2+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a high-growth, high change environmentDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and resources, meet deadlines, and be flexible to changing priorities.Collaborative team player with strong sense of urgency, drive and passion to take ownership of projects.Proven ability to manage extremely confidential informationPossess a natural, yet professional ease at working with and relating to the needs of employees in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
