Vaco is working closely with one our PE-backed manufacturing clients to help onboard a Controller ASAP.
They are looking for folks with prior manufacturing experience as well as exposure with smaller or midmarket environments.
Strong preference for work history with PE firms.
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
General Ledger Management: Oversee the general ledger system, including chart of accounts maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Audit Coordination: Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure compliance with auditing standards.
Tax Compliance: Collaborate with tax advisors to ensure compliance with tax regulations and optimize tax strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field
CPA required
Public accounting experience highly preferred
Public company experience required
