Position Summary
Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital Mondays 8am to 12pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays 8am to 4pm and Fridays 8a to 2pm. Must be a licensed PTAOrlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital is a 285-bed acute care facility serving southwest Orange County for more than 35 years. The hospital offers advanced technology and expertise innumerous areas of specialty, including diagnostic imaging, cardiovascular and stroke care,comprehensive surgical services, and rehabilitation, with minimally invasive options for manyprocedures utilizing the DaVinci® Robotic Surgical System and Mako SmartRobotics™ robotic arm-assisted surgery for knee and hip joint replacement. A comprehensive EmergencyDepartment treats both adults and children, including a "fast track" for minor emergencies, andis a designated Primary Stroke Center. Responsibilities
Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for providing Physical Therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist• Demonstrates ability to appropriately treat patients according to professional standards of practice.• Interpersonal communication skills include the ability to coordinate patient care with other team members, and counsel patientsand their families.• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, stateand local standards.• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedure
Qualifications
Education/TrainingAssociate degree or graduate from an accredited two-year college program in Physical Therapist Assistant.Licensure/CertificationCurrent license in the State of Florida as Physical Therapist Assistant.Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
