Job SummaryDirectly supervises adult and student volunteers who do not have a Supervisor in their area of assignment for example-patient visitor volunteer at both Philadelphia and Elkins Park locations.Essential FunctionsInteracts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.Develops and implements strategic plan for volunteer servicesManages all student and adult volunteer s for Jefferson Einstein and Elkins Park locationsManages process of identifying and responding to needs of staff throughout for volunteer assistanceManages volunteer application, orientation, training and competency assessment processes and proceduresManage data collection and input process and provision of all necessary statistics and reportsCommunity engagement initiatives to increase our volunteer programCompetencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required):Strong communication skills, both oral and written required. Proven ability to respond creatively to staff needs for volunteer assistance required. Attention to detail and follow-through required. Experience with both provision of excellent customer service and managing conflict resolution required.
