Overview
Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking an environmental health and safety (EHS) professional to become part of our expanding practice and client services in our Toledo, Ohio and/or Wixom, MI locations. You will work with our environmental practice team to assist clients in navigating and complying with continually changing and challenging environmental regulations. In this position you will gain a direct understanding of how your activities and services affects client business objectives and help them to achieve those objectives. You will also build business and client relationships and a network within and outside of CEC that will help your personal and professional development as a consultant.Qualifications
5+ years of environmental compliance experience with or for manufacturing and/or power generation facilities;
B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related;Knowledge of federal and Ohio and/or Michigan environmental (i.e., air, waste, water, etc.) rules and regulations; and,Exposure to environmental reporting and/or permit/plan implementation (i.e., Tier II, TRI, wastewater, storm water, air and/or SPCC).
