Affiliated with Norwalk Hospital, Nuvance Health, is seeking Primary Care Physician for our Wilton Primary and Specialty Care practice in Wilton, Connecticut. Work with 5 experienced physicians and 1 APRN in a busy established practice in a family friendly location with close proximity to NYC and close to Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, CT.

This is an employed position with Nuvance Health Medical Practice. Competitive total compensation package including base salary, incentive pay, paid time off, CME time off and allowance, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k match and contribution. Hiring bonus and relocation stipend may also be available.

The ideal candidate will be a compassionate primary care physician who will provide comprehensive care in a team-based environment to our population of patients. This includes not only caring for acute and chronic conditions but working with multidisciplinary support staff to promote the health and well-being of our entire panel of covered lives. This as a full-time, office-based position providing outpatient services only, utilizing a state-of-the-art Electronic Health Record fully integrated across all our hospitals and sites.

Virtual scribes – to reduce charting time and enable clinicians to work top of license with more face-to-face time with their patients

Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are associated with University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 900+ employed physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.

Astride a hill with a commanding view of the Long Island Sound, Norwalk Hospital serves a varied and attractive region of Southern Connecticut. The hospital is just minutes from beautiful places to hike, swim, sail or just walk along the beach. New York City is easily accessible by car or train. .**

Job Requirements:

MD or DO with excellent academic credentials

CT State License, Federal DEA and State Controlled Substance Registration

Have successfully completed an Internal Medicine Residency or Family Medicine Residency but this practice sees adult patients only.

Experience as a Primary Care Physician preferred but new grads are welcome to apply.

Must be Board Certified or be Board Eligible

Off-hour coverage – Shared among multiple providers, phone-calls only with nurse triage

Salary range: $275,000-$285,000 dependent upon experience.
