Primary Care Physician Opening in Brookfield, Connecticut (90 miles from New York City)

Brookfield Primary Care, a part of Nuvance Health, is seeking Primary Care Physician for our Brookfield Primary Care Practice office, located in suburban Fairfield County, Connecticut, about 90 minutes outside of New York City. Our Brookfield practice is long established and highly regarded, having provided high-quality healthcare to our community for over thirty-five years, including the local police and fire departments, the Brookfield school system, and the local YMCA.

Our staff includes 7 providers (Physicians and Advance Practice Provider colleagues) and excellent support staff. The office is a completely new facility with spacious exam rooms and dedicated office space for our physicians and advanced practitioners. We utilize a state-of-the-art Electronic Health Record that is fully integrated across all our hospitals and ambulatory sites. We were one of the first practices in our area to be awarded a Level 3 certification for PCMH, and our practice is committed to undergraduate medical education with many of our clinicians precepting medical students from the University of Vermont.

This is an employed position with Nuvance Health Medical Practice. Competitive total compensation package including base salary, incentive pay, paid time off, CME time off and allowance, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k match and contribution. Hiring bonus and relocation stipend may also be available.

The ideal candidate will be a compassionate primary care physician who will provide comprehensive care in a team-based environment to our population of patients. This includes not only caring for acute and chronic conditions but working with multidisciplinary support staff to promote the health and well-being of our entire panel of covered lives. This as a full-time, office-based position providing outpatient services only, utilizing a state-of-the-art Electronic Health Record fully integrated across all our hospitals and sites.

Virtual scribes ñ to reduce charting time and enable clinicians to work top of license with more face-to-face time with their patients

Daily Management Systems to ensure collaboration and problem solving occurs at the practice level ñ the clinicians and support staff know how best to solve for complex challenges

Job Requirements:

MD or DO

CT State License, Federal DEA and State Controlled Substance Registration

Have successfully completed an Internal Medicine Residency, Family Medicine Residency or an Internal Medicine AND Pediatric Residency

Experience as a Primary Care Physician preferred but new grads are welcome to apply

Must be Board Certified or be Board Eligible

Off-hour coverage ñ Shared among multiple providers, phone-calls only with nurse triage

Salary range:

$275,000 - $285,000 annually commensurate or relative to experience.
