Position Summary

THE FOCUS IS YOU:

We are looking to add a Campus Recruiter to join our team in the Northeast region. The Campus Recruiter will be responsible for assisting with execution of full life-cycle campus recruiting.

Additionally, applying theory and skills learned through academic course work, in a direct work setting with employees and/or clients either individually or in groups.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Regular duties include (but are not limited to):

Coordinate the overall university recruitment for the UHY Northeast offices including New York City and Long Island for key target schools in conjunction with that effort, with direction from the Campus Recruiting Manager.

Develop and cultivate relationships with various educational institutions; maintain relationships with students, faculty and staff. Actively recruit internal professionals to represent UHY on campus.

Present a unified approach with internal stakeholders and ensure one consistent UHY approach on campus.

Foster recruiting relationships with undergraduate accounting students and target top talent to continue to build pipeline

Coordinate and facilitate all logistics associated with hosting on-campus activities at key schools, including scheduling and conducting interviews, arranging receptions, activities, presentations with key clubs and organizations (i.e., BAP, NABA chapters), etc.

Coordinate all logistics surrounding the office visit process, including final round interview days, office interviews, open houses, etc.

Build and maintain relationships with target candidates as well as business partners, including all levels of employees, Partners and leadership as well as university officials, clubs and organizations, faculty members, department heads, recruiting team, etc.

Work directly with Campus Recruiting Manager on campus recruiting strategy

Organize and facilitate UHY’s Connect program (summer leadership program)

Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion

Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis

Perform other job-related duties as necessary

Heavy travel through UHY’s Northeast region to appropriate campus events during fall and spring seasons

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Experience

0-2+ years of experience

Experience in public accounting is preferred

Advanced user of Excel

Strong communication skills and experience delivering professional presentations

Ability to establish priorities, manage deadlines, exercise a high degree of professionalism in interactions with all levels of internal and external clients

Education

Bachelor’s Degree

For job postings in our New York locations, we are required by law to include a good faith salary range for every job, promotion, and transfer opportunity in accordance with the New York Human Rights Law. This range considers many factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s knowledge, job specific skills, experience, licensure, and certifications.

A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000.
