Community Day Services Manager .
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Community Day Services (CDS) Manager at DSC, you will assist the Director of CDS in managerial and clinical functions of the CDS program. In this role, you will aid in the daily operation and overall development of the program as well as screen, hire and supervise CDS staff. Additionally, you will work with the Director, Assistant Manager, Coordinator and DSPs to support individuals with day-to-day quality of life, skill building and maintenance through training, modeling, guidance and support as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to supervise and coordinate a wide variety of professional and paraprofessional disciplines. Expertise in providing support and supervision for employees, and working with professionals and other personnel, including parents. Proficiency in writing relative to all records, reports, and communications necessary.
Sufficient physical stamina and mobility for lifting, carrying, bending, pushing and pulling. This may apply to the support of individuals and/or the products/materials related to the support of individuals.
Valid driver’s license and the ability to drive an agency van.
One or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities desirable.
HOURS:
40 hours a week, Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
