Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 (Night Shift) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Telemetry experience, ACLS Job Description: - Work in a telemetry unit with 27 beds.- Collaborate with a team comprising 1 charge RN, 3 RNs, 3 LVNs, and 3 PCTs.- Manage patient ratios in an RN/LVN team model, with 9-10 patients per team.- Utilize telemetry monitors and IV pumps.- Familiarity with EMR system - Meditech.- Perform typical procedures of a telemetry unit.- Exhibit a positive, flexible, adaptable, and team-oriented personality.- Float to other med/surg units as needed.- Adhere to the dress code with navy-blue scrubs.- Follow unit guidelines and policies.- Be available to work every other weekend and as required to meet staffing needs.
