Unit Profiles: The purpose of a unit profile is to help provide an exceptional understanding of the unit. Profiles will include location, number of beds, patient rations, and other unique details to assist recruiting professional in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff. Below you will find a data collection tool to help you identify essential data needed to complete your profile. Data Collection: Unit Information: Echo Location: St David's Medical Center Building: SDMC- Main Hospital- Inpatient Floor: 1st- Cardiology Services Order Detail: Facility Department Number: 744 Discipline: Echo Tech Quantity: 3 Target Start Date: ASAP Shift: 7a-5:30 pm Call Requirements: Variable hours during week (5p-7a) Weekends: Every 3rd Weekend General Information Tell us about the unit(s): • Number of Beds - NA • Number of Staff - 4 • Type of staff: o Day Shift - 3 Sonographers per day o Night Shift - N/A- on-call (5p-7a week days) • Patient Ratios - Avg 8-9 studies per day • Type of equipment - GE • EMR - Meditech/Merge • Permanent Positions on Unit Avaliable? (Y/N) -Y Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. • BLS • ARDMS or CCI Registry in Cardiac Ultrasound (Must be vascular and Cardiac Certified) Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. • Pediatric and Adult Experience (Neonatal) • Transcranial Doppler Experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): • Echocardiograms • TEE • Stress Echo • TCD Best personality Fit: • Flexible • Kind and Calm Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. • Scrub Color - Olive Green scrub top & black scrub pant • May wear an Olive Green Scrub or Fleece Jacket.
