Sigma Healthcare team is currently looking for a Physical Therapist to work onsite at our client's healthcare facility in Phoenix, AZ.

Shift: M-F varying hours 10 AM - 7:30 PM

Summary:

This position provides outpatient orthopedic & sports physical therapy services primarily to a pediatric population from school age through adolescence/young adulthood. The applicant should be adept and comfortable independently managing the complete continuum of professional services from patient access to appropriate coding and billing practices according to legal/ethical guidelines and hospital policy. Performs evaluations, program planning, and treatment of patients using exercise, neuromuscular reeducation, joint and soft tissue mobilization, taping, electrical stimulation, thermal modalities, etc. specific to age, athletic activity, and developmental/functional level determined by assessment. This position will demonstrate an understanding of billing and coding practices as appropriate for professional outpatient services and its revenue cycleStandard for portrayal of mission and values:

Certification/License/Registry Requirements

:

Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy license prior to start date.BLS for healthcare providers from the American Heart Association prior to start date.Holds, or is eligible to obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) to render and bill for independent professional services prior to start date.BS or higher degree from a school accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.Experience Requirements:

Sports/Orthopedic physical therapy setting2 years experience treating, coaching or teaching ages 7-182 years of athletic experience as a player, coach, official, etc., preferred
