Polysomnography Tech / Sleep Tech (RPSGT)

is looking for a meticulous and skilled Sleep Technician to join our team. In this position, you will perform sleep studies, monitor patients throughout the night, and ensure precise data collection to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.
Key Responsibilities for a Polysomnography Tech / Sleep Tech:Set up and calibrate sleep study equipment to ensure accurate readings and patient comfort.Perform overnight polysomnography, including monitoring and recording various physiological parameters such as brain waves, heart rate, and breathing patterns.Assist patients in preparing for sleep studies, including explaining procedures and addressing any concerns or questions.Monitor patient data throughout the night, adjusting equipment as necessary and ensuring patient safety and comfort.Analyze and interpret sleep study data to identify patterns and anomalies related to sleep disorders.Qualifications for a Polysomnography Tech / Sleep Tech:
Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist
(RPSGT)
or licensed as an
RRT .NYS license
required
by start date.Associate's degree or higher in Polysomnography, Respiratory Therapy, or a related field.
