In this role, you will conduct comprehensive sleep studies, monitor patients overnight, and ensure accurate data collection to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. Qualifications for a Polysomnography Tech / Sleep Tech:Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist
(RPSGT)
or licensed as an
RRT .Associate's degree or higher in Polysomnography, Respiratory Therapy, or a related field.Experience in conducting sleep studies and familiarity with polysomnography equipment.Knowledge of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia, and restless legs syndrome.Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret complex data.Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
