three-bed facility
employs state-of-the-art digital technology to record and conduct sleep studies.Conditions treated:
Insomnia, Sleep apnea, Sleep-disordered breathing, Restless legs syndrome and periodic limb movement disorder, Narcolepsy, Sleepwalking and other disturbances, and Sleep disorders in children
A Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the Medical Director (M.D., D.O., or PhD) or designee and the direct supervision of the Director of Cardiopulmonary and Sleep Services to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education.Strong writing and verbal communication skills required. Maintain positive communication and relationships with all levels of management, employees as well as individuals outside of the organization. Demonstrate the ability to analyze complex situations and apply policy, procedures, regulation or government law. Must be able to follow safety precautions. Strict adherence to confidentiality is essential.Computer skills necessary with proficiency in the use of sleep software applications and all Microsoft applications and the internet required, smart card downloads software, actigraphy software is preferred. Knowledgeable about Meditech is optimal but not required.
