Position Summary
The Front of House Coordinator be responsible for front of house operations for the Joan B. Kroc Theatre. They will oversee volunteer ushers and theatre FOH staff. They will be the FOH contact for clients and spectators, providing them with outstanding service throughout their event. They will communicate with the technical staff to ensure excellent event flow and serve as MOD when appropriate. A sincere enthusiasm and a desire to be of assistance are essential for this position.
Essential Functions
Provide front-of-house management services for clients, caterers, and event attendees during performances.
Opening facility before and securing venue at the conclusion of each event.
Ensure the cleanliness of the building entrance, restrooms, auditorium, and lobby.
Supervise volunteers and staff ushers, train and assign FOH roles for each event.
Oversee the set-up of intermission concessions and client lobby displays.
Ensure the placement of directions signage and the distribution of event programs.
Facilitate ticket taking and tally ticket stubs.
Provide pertinent data to theatre admin for statistics.
Maintain open communication with the technical staff and client team.
Assist patrons with special needs, ADA seating.
Ensure patron security and intercede in the event of any emergency or altercation.
Maintain safety standards and procedures for a safe work environment.
Report harmful/safety issues.
Know, explain, and exemplify the mission, purpose, and values of the Kroc Center and The Salvation Army.
Follow and ensure adherence to The Salvation Army Policies and Procedures.
Must be in good physical health and mental health, capable of meeting the demands of the program.
Perform other assignments/duties as directed.
This position is as part-time as needed.
