Position Summary
As a Program Industrial Manager within the Operations organization, you act as the focal point for assigned program. Your mission includes synchronizing production stakeholders, optimizing the end-to-end chain (from supply through final assembly), and incorporating S&OP processes.
You will report to the Head of Industrial Program Management.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with Program Industrial Managers, ensuring actions and decisions align with multi-program requirements involved in the satellite development and production.Act as a significant contributor to the Monthly Program Schedule (MPS) and manage the industrial schedule for multiple Program, including Final Assembly Line (FAL) demand and capability, Supply Chain forecast and capacity.Collaborate with various stakeholders, suppliers (through Supply Chain Mgmt. Team), FAL and Design to Manufacture (D2M) teams, and Configuration Management for any decision or action impacting FAL Production and supplier activity (on-time test validations, Non-Conformance Record (NCR) instruction and decision, priority assignment, transverse Non-Conformance Review Board (NRB), schedule optimization.Oversee the integration of Sales & Operating Planning (S&OP), ensuring a reporting and balance between sales forecasts, product configuration type, production capabilities, and inventory management. Identify and drive Key Contributors.Address conflicts, assign priorities, and involve Senior Management Team (SMT) when satellite delivery or launch schedule and/or program cost is impacted.Ensure the Configuration Management is in place of each delivered module and/or satellite.Validate change implementation plans in the Configuration Control Board (CCB), defines ranking and wave strategy.During development phase, participate in supplier selection and lead technical trade-offs during new satellite design phases which would impact production rate and throughput.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Education:
Master's degree / engineering degree in STEM (science, technical, engineering, math)Certification(s):
Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) is a plus.Experience:
Experience in manufacturing, especially in aerospace industry, with satellite experience being highly desirable.Minimum 5 years of relative experienceKnowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:
Familiarity with space mission architecture.Excellent communication skills, a flexible attitude and strong initiative.Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).French (or Spanish) language skills are a plus.Technical Systems Proficiency:
SAP experience preferred.Satellite integration experience, highly desirable.Travel Required:
Up to 5% travel required.Eligibility:
U.S. Citizenship required.Clearance:
Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.Active DoD security clearance at Top Secret/ SCI desirable.Physical Requirements:
Carrying:
able to carry documents and/or electronic equipment up to 20lbs/9kg.Lifting:
able to lift documents and/or electronic equipment up to 20lbs/9kg.Pushing/Pulling:
able to push/pull items in office areas.Sitting:
able to sit for extended periods of time at computer and in meetings.Squatting/Kneeling:
