SUMMARYPerforms and assists radiologists in performing radiographic procedures, obtaining films of good diagnostic quality while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients undergoing these procedures. .STATUS: Part-TimeLOCATION: United Memorial Medical CenterDEPARTMENT: RadiologySCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8hr Shifts, Days/Evenings/Nights, weekends on callATTRIBUTES
Prior Radiologic Technologist experienceBLS Certification preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient Care. Responsible for radiography of patients, including CT scans and Interventional CT guided procedures; provide on-call coverage for CT section of Radiology; follow up on patient care issues/needsDocumentation. Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and procedures; document performance of studies in patient chartsDaily Maintenance. Assist with day-to-day supervision of the CT team; clean, restock and prepare rooms
Minimum Qualifications:• 2 years college certificate or equivalent• Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.Required Licensure/Certification Skills:
NYS license in Radiologic Technology required OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of hire.If licensed after 2007 must obtain American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT) within 1 year of hire.

PAY RANGE: $28.25 - $37.00The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future.
