SUMMARYAs a Radiologic Tech I, you assist radiologists with imaging procedures to ensure diagnostic quality and the maximum comfort and safety of patients who undergo procedures.STATUS: Full-TimeLOCATION: Victor Medical CampusDEPARTMENT: RadiologySCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8a-9p, 8 or 10hr shifts available, 36 or 40hr work weeks availableATTRIBUTES
Radiologic Technologist experience preferredExcellent patient service skillsCritical thinking skills, attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervisionExceptional documentation/computer skills and professional behavior
RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient Care. Perform radiography of patients in all assigned areas; maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts; provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology; provide excellent patient serviceGeneral Maintenance. Clean, restock and prepare rooms on a daily basisDocumentation. Ensure concise, and complete documentation of patient exams and related procedures, utilizing the RIS/PACS and in-patient charts as necessary
Minimum Qualifications:• 2 years college certificate or equivalent• Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.Required Licensure/Certification Skills:• NYS license in Radiologic Technology required OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of hire.• If licensed after 2007 must obtain American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT) within 1 year of hire.Rochester General Health System is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
