About CommuniCare+OLE
Established in 2023, CommuniCare+OLE is the result of a union of two health centers with a deep roots in their respective communities and reputations for providing high-quality primary care to all, regardless of insurance or ability to pay: OLE Health of Napa and Solano Counties and CommuniCare Health Centers of Yolo County. Building on a legacy established by both organizations in 1972, CommuniCare+OLE is a network of federally-qualified health centers with 17 sites across Napa, Solano, and Yolo Counties. It offers comprehensive care, including medical, dental, behavioral health and substance use treatment, nutrition, optometry, pharmacy, care coordination, referrals, and enrollment assistance to more than 70,000 individuals, and no one is turned away due to lack of insurance, immigration status, or ability to pay. Many services are offered outside of its sites, including mobile health, home visiting, and community and school-based programs.

Chief Information Officer (CIO)
to lead our healthcare clinics system and implementation of Epic EHR system, As Chief Information Officer you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our IT systems, and play an invaluable role in keeping those systems secure. The CIO will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology strategy, ensuring seamless operations, and driving innovation across our network of clinics.
Core Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with our organizational goals.Foster collaboration between clinical, administrative, and technical teams.Be part of a dynamic Executive Team.
Technology Management:
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of electronic health records (EHR) Epic systems.Drive cybersecurity initiatives to protect patient data and privacy. IT Security and Disaster Recovery.Optimize the latest technology services and digital health platforms, including AI.Maintaining legacy systems when needed.Ultimately accountable for all computer operations including help desk, data center production scheduling systems, computer programming development, technical services, communication networks (voice and data), and computer systems operations.
Innovation and Digital Transformation:
Identify emerging technologies and trends relevant to healthcare.Champion innovation projects that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.Responsible for reporting monthly dashboard metrics.
Vendor Management:
Collaborate with vendors to negotiate contracts and ensure service quality.Evaluate and select software solutions that meet our clinical and administrative needs.
Team Leadership:
Lead a dynamic team of IT professionals, EHR support and Epic implementation team, Data Analytic Team, and Health Information Team (Medical Records).Lead by example, mentor and develop staff to achieve their full potential.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science from a credential collage, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).Proven experience as a CIO, CTO or senior IT leadership role in healthcare field.Strong IT Project Management Experience.Strong understanding of Networks, EHR systems, interoperability, and data analytics.Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.Strong knowledge of all Office 365 applications.A plus: knowledge of FQHC Health Care organization.A plus: experience with OCHIN Epic.
