Job SummaryThe Maintenance Planner supports the activity of the Engineering and Maintenance Team, and provide plans for Preventive, Predictive, and Project/Backlog Maintenance work. Maintenance Planner ensures parts and resources are available and ready; Leads execution of the daily. Maintenance plan in conjunction with the daily warehouse schedule. This role provides authoritative guidance and support to Electrical-MechanicalTechnicians, Electrical Automation Technicians, and maintenance contractors, acting as a liaison with management if required and communicates planned activities and assignments.Essential FunctionsBe the site Subject Matter Expert and overseer of theComputerized Maintenance Management SystemPlanning Predictive/Preventive Maintenance work activities and associated resources such as labor, parts, equipment, and tools, to coincide with daily, weekly, monthly Distribution Center Operations plans. Entering modifications, improvements, or additions made to manufacturing, utilities, and/or other support area equipment Evaluate Work Requests to convert to Work Orders or give feedback as needed Verifying that PM, CBM, and PDM planned and unplanned work is complete, logged, collected for future evaluation. Oversee store-room and manage parts inventory Oversee site assets and equipment classification assignments Execute plans to insure asset reliability and overall site performance. Coordinate activities related to routine building maintenance and utilities Coordinate with/schedule outside contractors relating to engineering related activities.SUPERVISION RECEIVED:The Maintenance Planner reports directly to the Maintenance ManagerQUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience High School diploma or GED equivalency. 1 - 3 years of maintenance scheduling / planning experience and/or 5 - 10 years as a machine repair technician, or equivalent combination of both Experience in a manufacturing environment Electrical/mechanical aptitude preferredAdditional QualificationsFamiliarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (Emaint Preferred)Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and OutlookMust be willing to work overtime and be flexible to work additional shifts as needed by business demands Strong attention to detail.
