University of Colorado Anschutz Medical CampusDepartment: PathologyWorking Title: Academic Services -Entry Professional -Residency/Fellowship CoordinatorPosition #: '00827808 - Requisition #: 34996Job Summary:The Department of Pathology is seeking a Residency/Fellowship Program Coordinator (PC) who will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of one fellowship training program and assist the Residency Education Manager with the Residency Program. Under the immediate direction of the Program Directors, the PC will assist the Program Directors in ensuring that the training programs are in full compliance with CUGME Office policies and procedures, ACGME program requirements and regulations, assist the Program Directors in developing and maintaining the educational quality of the training programs, and function as a liaison between the Program Directors, fellows, faculty, CUGME office, participating training sites, and other departments.Supervision Received: This position reports to the Academic Services ManagerSupervision Exercised: NoneKey Responsibilities:Residency (60%)Supports compliance to ACGME program requirements, GME policies and procedures and related departmental policiesCoordinates accreditation activities - ACGME Site Visits, Special Reviews, Annual Program Evaluations, etc.Assist with the preparation of the annual graduation eventManage annual Residency recruitment activities, including reviewing applications, scheduling and coordinating interviews, maintaining interview feedback data, preparing information for ranking meetings, and monitoring onboarding activities
Fellowship (20%)Supports compliance to ACGME program requirements, GME policies and procedures and related departmental policiesProvides guidance to fellows on program and GME policies, and non-clinical aspects of the programCoordinates educational activities (i.e., didactic conference schedules) that support the programs' curriculum and adhere to ACGME requirementsManage annual fellowship recruitment activities, including reviewing applications, scheduling and coordinating interviews, maintaining interview feedback data, preparing information for ranking meetings, and monitoring onboarding activities
Other duties (20%)Process reimbursements for trainee travel, educational and professional development expenditures as per University and Department policyCreate and maintain personnel filesOther duties as assigned
