We are seeking a Sr Finance Systems Manager to contribute their expertise to our finance team. This position will be based in South San Francisco, California reporting to the Controller. This is a hands-on position that will be responsible for the IT support of accounting and finance needs, specifically dealing with all automation matters and reporting improvements.
Our ideal candidate will collaborate with Finance and IT Leadership to ensure our systems are designed and operating effectively. This individual will have a proven track record in developing, automating, and expanding financial system capabilities. The Sr Finance Systems Manager will need to work in a fast-paced environment and possess a leadership mentality that enables them to both identify and resolve challenges.
Position is Hybrid: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday onsite in South San Francisco
What You'll Be Doing
Leading financial systems process improvements, including refinement and automation of close processes and reporting, implementation of robust accounting system procedures and related integrations.Ownership of how account mappings impact other teams such as FP&A and External Reporting. Responsibility for governance of the Chart of Accounts, Profit Centers, and Cost Centers.Ensuring that inter-company relationships and transactions are correctly identified and set up in SAP.Assisting subsidiary accounting teams on a variety of topics including the design and implementation of standardized processes, internal controls, and ongoing monitoring activities.SME and lead other users on best practices and efficient use of the ERP system (SAP) and other finance related data sources.Maintaining and providing audit support as requested by internal and external auditors.Special projects and other duties as assigned.What You'll Bring to the Team
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business preferred, CPA Preferred10+ years of experience in an accounting role, including a mix of public accounting and / or industry backgroundsAbility to manage multiple competing objectives, take ownership, deliver on commitmentsExtensive with financial systems experience (SAP required) with knowledge of data structure and reporting requirements; BlackLine and OneStream Experience (preferred)International and multi-site experienceExperience working in rapid, start-up-like environment
The base cash compensation for this California-based role is below. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for bonus, equity, and a generous benefits package. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate skill, experience, expertise, and location and may vary from the amount listed above. Compensation may be different in other locations.
San Francisco Bay Area Pay Range
$150,000-$190,000 USD
