Overview
The Sr. Finance Systems Analyst role will focus on identifying and implementing process improvements, managing projects from inception to completion, overseeing change management, providing ongoing support, and ensuring effective communication across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting and FP&A, with strong analytical and project management skills.
What You'll Do
Work cross functionally with Finance and Accounting teams to understand the business strategy and help implement technical solutions for strategic and tactical initiatives.Understand developing process gaps in Finance and Accounting, research technical solutions and prioritize projects for development.Implement selected projects from start to finish, including requirements gathering, functional and technical solution design, business process design and workflow, testing and user acceptance, deployment, and organizational change management and communication.Identify and implement key metrics to monitor and ensure projects and support objectives meet desired outcomes.Recommend and coordinate appropriate enterprise change management strategies to minimize business disruption.Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to resolve implementation issues to partners' satisfaction.Design and implement training programs for system/process changes.Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all implemented projects and act as a business point of contact (POC) for the IT aspects of accounting and FP&A processes.Support the prioritization of system improvements.Keep all partners informed on project execution and desired outcomes.Communicate and collaborate with various levels of management throughout the organization.Translate customer needs into technology and process solutions.Build relationships with key user and operations groups to identify and resolve business issues.Continuously research best practices, new technologies, and new processes to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of industry advancements.What You'll Bring to the Table
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting, Finance, IT or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.5+ years of experience with a solid background in accounting, FP&A, and understanding of ERP system processes and how they work.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effecting interaction with individuals across various levels of management.Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Experience with SAP FICO and other SAP modules preferred.Experience with Financial tools and reporting such as SAP Business Planning and Consolidation, OneStream, Power BI, SAP Business Objects preferred.
