Job Description
The Manager, Client Services is an integral position on Wasserman's Experiential Team with responsibility for the successful delivery of projects, from brief to execution. The Manager, Client Services will provide support to the project team to ensure that all client deliverables and project milestones are delivered on-time, on-budget and of a quality expected by Wasserman and its clients.
General:Own various components of large-scale projects to support the day-to-day management of accounts and projectsLead the development and execution of small-scale projects with support from an account team and oversight from an account directorSupport in the strategic development of activation concepts that deliver on client requests, demonstrating critical thinking and creative solutionsManage various elements of a project from planning through to execution and post-event recappingWork in a collaborative manner with all Wasserman account teams to ensure flawless project delivery against the client's objectives and agreed upon budgetDevelop, manage and reconcile project budgets of $200K+Ensure projects are correctly budgeted for and meet expected financial targetsDevelop status sheets, project milestone documents and enforce deliverable dates essential to the program's successManage and develop client, supplier and third-party relationships, throughout the duration of projectsUnderstand the landscape for each client's business/sector as well as the media context for their investmentsCreate a positive, collaborative, teamwork environment that aligns with Wasserman company culture and valuesTroubleshoot and creative problem solve throughout projectsFollow all project processes and procedures to uphold quality standardsAttend conferences, tradeshows, etc. as necessary to ensure Wasserman always provides best-in-class programs and continues to increase its product offering for industry-leading clientsEnsure consistent positive working relationships between departments and other Wasserman Experience team membersRequirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree2-4 years relevant event experience (preferably in the experiential, sports or entertainment field)Ability to remain calm under pressure, work on multiple projects simultaneously and achieve deadlinesPossess exceptional written and oral communication skillsAbility to foresee issues developing before they arise and develop a solution as neededMust be comfortable working as an integral part of a team environmentOpen-minded mentality, allowing thorough exploration of all ideas and thought-startersAbility to put out small "fires", with an understanding of when to escalateFocused and strong-minded with an ambition to help grow the companyAbility to multi-task and prioritize workload while coordinating with others to proactively meet deadlinesMust thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a 'can-do' attitude at all timesStrong attention to detail and highly organized
Base salary range: $65-70k plus bonus potential if applicable for role.Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role.
