Opened in the Fall of 2020, Apopka Health & Rehabilitation Center is a 180-bed skilled nursing facility on the North side of Apopka. Our community is full of dedicated and compassionate caregivers, and we are looking for additional team members to work with our at-risk patient population.
Being an Activities Director is more than just playing games with our residents. It's about providing meaning to life. It's about helping them learn and grow. It's about bringing hope, joy, and purpose to them. It's a vital part of what we do to make the lives of our residents rich and full. Being an Activities Director requires someone who is outgoing and has passion, creativity, compassion, patience, and enthusiasm.
Our community is looking for an energetic and creative Activities Director who will oversee the day-to-day activities of our residents, organize and coordinate outings, and promote activities to stimulate our resident's interests.

Qualifications:
Must be eligible for certification as an Activities Professional by a recognized accrediting body, or hold state-required licenses and/or certifications
Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents, and families and to work cooperatively with other associates
We are a vaccinated care facility. New hires will need to provide proof of vaccination or other acceptable documents prior to starting employment
