ART GROUP LEADER
Group leader will support and promote Art Instruction with Art Instructor. Will engage in art fine arts, activities taught to k-5 or 6th-8thgrade participants.
Hourly Rate: $15.00-$20.00
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities.
Promotes positive character development in all youth
Provide a fun, encouraging, and disciplined atmosphere.
Be able to control and motivate groups of pupils.
Demonstrate leadership, dependability, patience, and concern for others.
'Support 'Lesson Planning enhancement.
Attend occasional program meetings.
Track student attendance, including late arrival and early departure to address any concerns.
Have an understanding of health and safety of student in care.
Follow administrative and governmental safety and personnel policies, procedures, and ordinances.
Help to maintain and establish, enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among the students for whom they are responsible.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's degree preferred or High School Diploma Required, or equivalent
Minimum of two to 3 Years of work-related skill, knowledge, or supervising youth
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Care for knowledge of art and Fine Arts
Attention to detail and strong organization skills
Initiative, flexibility, patience, and creativity
Excellent communication skills (i.e., professional ability to attend to customer needs)
Ability to work in a team atmosphere (i.e., ability to communicate well with other instructors)
SPECIALTIES:
Sculpture, painting, and drawing variety of mediums - paper, metal, clay, wood
oil paintings
High motivated and creative
