Job Title: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse - Day/Night RotatingSchedule: 3x12's / 36 Hours / Every Other WeekendOn-call: NoneEstimated Patient Ratios: 1:1-2Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU experience.EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
Certifications Required:• BCLS• ACLS• NIHSS• AHA Certifications only
Skills Required:• Proficient in IV start• Experience with telemetry• Competency with ventilators
Preferred Qualifications:• Previous travel nursing experience• Proficiency in EPIC documentation system
Specialized Experience in:• Multisystem Organ Failure• Respiratory Failure• COVID• Sepsis• Post-Cardiac Arrest• Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA)• Liver Failure• Renal Failure
Special Procedures/Unit Details:• Continuous Glucose Monitoring for Hyperglycemia• Externalized IV Pumps for COVID+ PatientsSpecial Equipment Knowledge:• NxStage CRRT• Alaris IV Pump• Client Cardiac Monitor• Client Ventilator• Boom Lift in Each Patient Room
