Description:
Schedule: No set schedule, no set weekends, no block schedule. The facility determines the complete schedule, which may include working every weekend. Must be flexible. Maximum 1-2 days RTO (Requested Time Off).Vaccination Requirement: Vaccination required. Medical and religious exemptions accepted. If exempt approved, the candidate must undergo weekly COVID-19 testing.Experience: Oncology experience preferred but not required.Patient Diagnoses:• Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)• Acute Myeloid Leukemia (Adult)• Amyloidosis• Aplastic Anemia• Chronic Leukemia• Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)• Chronic Myeloid (Myelogenous) Leukemia• Hodgkin's Lymphoma• Multiple Myeloma• Myelodysplastic Syndrome• Myeloproliferative Disorders• Non-Hodgkin's LymphomaSpecial Procedures/Unit Details:• Autologous Transplants: Patients receive their own stem cells.• Syngeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their identical twin.• Allogeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their sibling, parent, or an unrelated donor.• CAR-T TherapyCertifications Required:• Basic Life Support (BLS)Preferred Certifications:• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy CertificationSkills Required:• MS/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry)• Telemetry monitoring• Interpretation of dysrhythmias• Use of Rapid Response Teams• Feeding tube care and management• Blood product administration• Central line blood draw• Peripheral line care/management• PICC line management• Nasal cannula administration
