Basic Function of the Job:
Complete all phases of semiconductor equipment assembly per standard operating procedures. Recommend improvements to new and existing programs, documentation, fixturing and processes. Maintain a safe, organized and clean work environment. Communicate effectively to optimize Quality, Safety and Efficiency.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalentBasic reading and math skills
Experience:
Metrology: Must be skilled in the use of hand and electronic gauging (inspection less than .0001 inches) and other electronic equipmentExperience with manufacturing process improvement initiativesRelated experience in precision assembly environmentMinimum 3 years experience in a technical assembly roleExperience with precision measurement methods and systemsAbility to read and understand engineering drawings and process proceduresDemonstrated ability to follow instructions and procedures closely while offering suggestions for continuous improvementExperience with networked PC based computer system (spreadsheets, Email, MRP systems)
Special Skills:
Good manual dexterity- able to manipulate small componentsClean and organized; high attention to detailPatient and conscientiousFlexible to work overtimeAbility to work in a cross-cultural, team based environmentGood interpersonal and communication skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to frequently lift/push/pull a minimum of 25 lbsAble to sit, stand, bend, squat and walk about the facilityWalking/standing a minimum of 8 hours per day
