Some things you can expect to do: Leadership & Team Management: Lead, coach, and mentor the lease administration team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Conduct performance appraisals, manage staffing levels, and ensure team members are developing their competencies. Lease Administration, Abstraction & Database Management: Oversee the creation, maintenance, and audit of internal processes surrounding end-to-end lease abstraction. Participate in abstracting and maintaining leases, ensuring lease administration data is accurate, up-to-date, and of institutional quality. Client Relationship Management: Act as the single point of contact for clients, landlords, and tenants. Establish and maintain strong working relationships to address service delivery concerns, ensure client satisfaction, and facilitate smooth accounting and property transitions. Budgeting & Financial Analysis: Team with Real Estate Accounting to efficiently manage rBudget and other software for budgeting, reforecasting, and reconciliation, focusing on the setup and maintenance of tenant recovery pools. Analyze and interpret operating expense data and conduct financial analysis through coordination with real estate accounting staff. Process Improvement & Reporting: Evaluate current processes and develop best practices for expense recovery reconciliation and other lease-related activities. Champion process improvement initiatives and create effective presentations and training materials for diverse audiences. Audit & Compliance: Conduct periodic reviews of leased and owned portfolios to determine risk, accuracy, and value. Perform audits and negotiate findings to ensure appropriate charges and credits are made. Systems Management: Manage user roles/permissions and be the designated subject matter expert (SME) for software such as rBudget, Yardi, MRI, and JDE E1. Special Projects: Collaborate on special projects and initiatives as assigned, working across multiple teams and departments to achieve strategic goals. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in lease administration, commercial real estate, or a similar field, with experience in property management or real estate accounting highly preferred. You will really stand out if you have: Advanced knowledge of real estate accounting software (rBudget, Yardi, MRI, JDE E1) and Microsoft Office Suite (with a strong emphasis on Excel). Proven track record of process improvement, training, and development, along with supervisory experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of attention to detail. Eligibility: Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S. Compensation: The annual base pay is $89,200 - $111,500. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an ncentive program.
