Assistant Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented financial assistant to join our finance team. Knowledge of general accounting and bookkeeping practices, as well as a strong work ethic, are required. You will assist with the day-to-day task in our finance department and play an integral role in maintaining account information.
Duties and Responsibilities
Help with financial data entry and general bookkeepingManage data, records, and reports by checking for errors and verifying accuracy of informationPrepare receipts, vouchers, invoices, etc. for entry into data sheetsAssist in preparation of financial statements and reportsAssist in creating and setting budgetsUpdate and maintain financial recordsPrepare spreadsheets for data entry, including budgets, accounting information, etc.Take direction from and report to the financial managerIndependently prioritize daily tasks and responsibilitiesProvide stellar customer service to our clients and be informed on all company policy and practices (including data privacy)Attend and take notes at all financial department meetingsAssist with audits as necessaryComplete weekly billing, payroll and claims dutiesAdhere to current accounting/finance laws and regulationsWork to company standardsRequirements and Qualifications
Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent requiredAssociate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field preferredMathematical and accounting acuityProfessional demeanor and excellent customer service skillsKnowledgeable in basic accounting/bookkeeping practices and processesComputer knowledge and experience using Microsoft Suite (mainly Excel) and other accounting and data input softwareExcellent communicator, both spoken and writtenProficient in Quickbooks onlineStrong organizational and time-management skillsThrives working both independently (a self-starter) and collaborativelyDependable, respectful and consistently works to uphold company ethics and standards
