About the Job:
The Vice President of Human Resources will provide strong and effective leadership, direction and professional expertise in all areas of human resources management. This leadership role will be responsible for ensuring optimal operations including the financial viability, planning and success of the department with specific responsibilities over HR Generalists, Talent Acquisition, Employee Records, Operations, Benefits, Compensation, HRIS and Payroll. The ideal candidate will have superior leadership skills combined with exceeding business objectives
A day in the life, what you'll be doing:
Organizational Leadership
Must be a hands-on professional with strong creative and conceptual skills as well as a proven track record managing a complex a changing business environment.Provide strategic HR partnership to leaders in the Field and Corporate Offices.Serve as a thought Partner/Trusted Advisor to Executive leadership team.Driver who possesses the ability to take actions and implement effective solutions often while influencing across different function and levels of the organization.Serve as internal HR consultant and partner to the executive team, Director and Managers to address specific business needs.Able to exhibit a strong sense of urgency in exceeding company goals and objectives.Thrive within an environment that has undergone business and leadership transformation.Develop and direct branding strategies to increase awareness of Pacsun as an exceptional place to work in order to attract talented individuals and broaden reach for hiring great talent.Direct and execute seasonal hiring strategies for Field Organization.Develop Team of HR Managers & Business Partners and Recruiters, creating high performance, strong business partnership, advisory, and service excellence across the organizationHuman Resources Strategy

Ability to provide direct leadership across the entire spectrum of HR service needs (i.e. executive leadership to hourly employees).Able to accurately diagnose organizational needs in conjunction with the political aptitude for gaining support with clearly defined goals.Responsible for activities related to the development and oversight of company policy and procedure.Administer the company's charitable budget, providing reports of accountability based on charitable budget allocations.Drive a culture anchored in our associate-first employee experience philosophy rooted in integrity, passion, innovation, teamwork, equity, and inclusion.Must be able to be decisive and logical in evaluating and analyzing situations.Leadership Expectations:

Must have Bachelor's degree and/or 15+ years of HR experience with at least 7 years leading the HR function.Multi-unit, multi-state experience within the apparel retail industry preferredDemonstrated sound judgment and decision making abilities.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business reports, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and Powerpoint.Ability to write reports, executive summaries, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of executives, managers/supervisors, clients, customers, and the general public.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including ability to give direct and honest insights.Experience managing within a diverse and fast-paced environment.Proven track record successfully developing and implementing programs in all facets of an organizationDeveloping the Community/ Leadership Qualities:
