Key Position Details:Allina Health Elk River Clinic is seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join their busy practice.Primary care team has 2 Family Medicine Physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers, 2 PediatriciansServices offered: Medical imaging, sports medicine, and mental health services36 patient contact hours per weekMinimal call coverage, phone only, RN triage supportOutpatient practice providing care to all ages, including growing familiesClinic hours are Monday-Friday: 7:30am-5pm and closed Saturday-SundayEMR: Excellian is one of the most comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) systems in the nation.Located 35 miles Northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul, Elk River offers a small town atmosphere with fast and easy access to the cultural and sporting events of the Twin Cities by Highways 10, 169, 101 and Interstate 94. The Elk River community offers a public park and beach, fishing, boating, canoeing, hiking, biking and cross country ski trails. Elk River is home to companies offering a variety of products and services including financial, printing, machine shops, international services and much more. This business community has been a major catalyst behind the growth experienced in the area. Much of this rapid growth is young families with children moving into the Elk River community.Job Description:Principle ResponsibilitiesWorks collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being.Practices in a thoughtful manner including consideration for cultural diversity, individual autonomy and legal responsibilities.Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management.Utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, or workflows.May participate in peer review and quality assurance

Job RequirementsMD, DO, or foreign equivalency training requiredBE/BC with ABMS or AOA requiredActive, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicableACLS-BLS Tier 3 - Multisource required within 180 Days
